Whew…its been a rough couple of weeks since I’ve last posted. I have been won-usasted. So much has been going on in the news to where I have been forced to withdraw from the punditry on what’s right and wrong in the world.

So I have been downloading torrents. I love them. And for up and coming geek’s like myself you should join the bandwagon. I have written a fool proof tutorial on how to start downloading torrents.

Torrents are the wave of the future. You will be able to download entire discographies, programs (relatively virus free, if it looks funny, don’t download) and plenty of movies(independent of course)–volumes!

First, download

Second, search for your favorite artists, movies, programs here at torrents.to .Torrents.to allows you to search multiple torrent search engines at one time. When you want to start over, go to the small red dot on the left and start the search over. Also something to consider when selecting torrents to download. Check the seeds v. lechers. The more seeds the better and faster the download. More reliable and not prone to carry viruses.

if you are a windoze user like me and an iPod lover, and your windoze machine erases 1900+ songs, videos, photos, podcasts and misc files on the iPod… torrents are a good way to rebuild entire libraries of music, videos, random programs, to your iPod. I am at 1500 songs already complete with album artwork.

Not really torrent related but useful for Downloading to your iPod or YouTube. 23 Ways to Download from YouTube.

Please comment on this blog and let me know if it was easy to follow or not.
